ABOUT THE ROLE
As our Frontend Lead, you will lead the frontend development of our customer-facing examination and scalable lockdown platforms while mentoring and supporting the growth of our frontend team.
You will spend most of your time coding and contributing to the design of the solution, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable product. The rest of your time will be dedicated to mentoring the team, leading pair programming sessions, conducting code reviews, and implementing best practices.
You’ll work closely with our Backend Lead, Product Lead, and a skilled team of developers. As Frontend Lead you will play a key role in our product development!
Some of the things you’ll get to do:
Hands-on coding and design, focusing on building responsive, accessible user interfaces that enhance the user experience
Facilitate task prioritization, focusing on quality, maintainability, and timely delivery
Gathering business and technical requirements and designing a corresponding frontend architecture
Collaborate with backend developers for seamless frontend-backend integration
Lead pair programming sessions to set coding standards, best practices and tackle complex problems together
Conduct code reviews with a teaching mindset, fostering a learning culture
Mentor and coach team members, sharing knowledge and encouraging continuous growth

WHO YOU ARE
We seek you who have a genuine interest in tech, problem-solving abilities, and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams. We would also like you to have:
+5 years working experience of frontend development technologies such as TypeScript, React.js, Redux, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience from lead position, scrum master or similar experience
Strong understanding of frontend architecture and design principles for scalable and maintainable applications
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly solutions
Professional proficiency in English
Experience in Rust or Native/Mobile development is a plus
